His prior role involved serving as the Business Development Manager (Africa) for Rio Tinto Energy. More recently, Willem provided consulting services to various entities in the mining industry, including major players such as Rio Tinto and AngloGold Ashanti, as well as several junior firms.
His professional background encompasses private equity, corporate finance advisory, management consulting, change management, project management, and auditing.
Willem earned his chartered accountant qualification at PricewaterhouseCoopers, South Africa, and holds an LL.B legal degree from the University of Johannesburg, along with a B.Compt (Hons) degree from the University of South Africa.

Adri Havenga brings a wealth of experience in management and bookkeeping. With a strong background in organizational support, she seamlessly manages bookkeeping and secretarial responsibilities.
Prior to joining Genoa Partners, she excelled in managing NGOs, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficient operations. Her proficiency in bookkeeping ensures meticulous financial management, contributing to the smooth functioning of our projects.
In her current role, she plays a crucial part in providing essential administrative support, overseeing bookkeeping tasks, and managing secretarial duties. Her multifaceted skills, coupled with a proactive and organized approach, contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our office operations.
Colenso Holder
Analyst
Since joining, Colenso has played a significant role in fundraising efforts, leveraging his expertise in financial modelling, drafting information memoranda, and conducting due diligence.
With previous experience at RERA Partners and Khumo Property Asset Management, Colenso brings strong skills in economic and industry analysis.
His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Stellenbosch University and participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Program, where he is currently a Level III candidate. Additionally, he gained a global perspective during an exchange semester at the University of Bath.
Colenso’s technical proficiency encompasses financial modelling, valuations, market research, and more.
